I take an integrative, evolutionary approach to the development of human life processes, including “problems” that bring clients to see psychologists and therapists in general. Given the chaos in the universe, and our own evolution from that chaos, it can be challenging to find order. It is the main task of therapy, I believe, to re-order the chaos, in other words, to explore meanings of the negative and positive experiences of life. With the aim being to encourage clients to take responsibility to guiding their lives more intentionally in the direction of their choosing while building the compassion to forgive.

My EMDR practice began with training as an intern clinician at child and youth mental health. I have used it over the last 15 years since then then in my private practice and more recently I am taking training in EMDR offered virtually.
