I provide online individual psychotherapy to adolescents and adults. My objective is to make therapy non-intimidating, comfortable, and safe. Working from a client-centered approach, I listen to what individuals need and support them through understanding and managing symptoms and their underlying causes of anxiety, depression, and fears. I draw upon different modalities, depending on the needs of each unique individual.
I love EMDR because of the way this approach focuses on distressing memories and processes them in a safe setting, allowing people to move forward without experiencing the emotional charge or triggers with which they previously struggled. EMDR is also beneficial for instilling strengths and positive resources, giving people more confidence and transforming their negative beliefs about themselves, thereby promoting a happy and healthy life.
