REBECCA JOHNSTON
I have supported individuals and families since 2009 who have struggled with mental health needs, addiction and trauma.
After my own transition into motherhood, it became my passion to help other new parents and families struggling with prenatal and postpartum issues.
These include:
- Postpartum Depression
- Postpartum Anxiety
- Postpartum Rage
- Prenatal Mood Disorders
- Birth Trauma
- Unresolved feelings about your breastfeeding experience
- Pregnancy & Infant Loss
- Infertility Issues
- Mom Guilt/ Parent Guilt
- Marital Conflict in the postpartum period
I can support you through the delicate prenatal and postpartum period as you and your family navigate one of the most transformative times of life.
I received my Master of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2009 after completing my Bachelor of Arts in History and Anthropology. I am trained in EMDR and take a client-centered, trauma informed approach. I completed the maternal Mental Health Certificate Training through Postpartum Support International in 2018.
