Renee Ritter provides psychotherapy services to children, youth, adults, and families, specialized in trauma and attachment healing, and recovery from stressful life events and transitions. Clients are supported to explore and understand themselves in context to their circumstances and history, discover the root causes of their distress and symptoms, and tap into their own adaptive healing capabilities. They will address the limiting beliefs holding them back, deepen their connection with themselves and others, improve their communication and healthy relationships, and integrate their learning to lead a fulfilling life.
EMDR is one of the most utilized and transformative therapy approaches in Renee's practice. It has great potential to offer her clients meaningful change and relief even for individuals who may have been struggling or attempting other therapy for years. She supports clients with attachment and relational trauma, developmental and complex trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, dissociative disorders, anxiety disorders, phobias, avoidance tendencies, emotional dysregulation, addictions, mood disorders, ADHD, work or school stressors, learning struggles, major life transitions, child development and/or parenting challenges.
Renee is a Social Worker and Psychotherapist registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
