Zameena Hussain, MSW, RSW
Zameena is a Registered Social Worker who works with individuals, couples and families experiencing challenges in life. Her approach relies on a strong relationship with her clients and explores how past and present experiences contribute to everyday challenges and relationship difficulties.
Zameena has extensive experience supporting clients from diverse backgrounds, including racialized (BIPOC), women/femme identifying, and 2SLGBTQIAA+ communities.
Zameena has experience working with adults, as well as with teens and their parents providing support on a wide range of counselling issues. Zameena specializes in trauma treatment of adverse childhood experiences, as well as trauma occurring in adulthood. In therapy, Zameena explores the mind-body connection and provides Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.
I help my clients navigate past and present-day challenges, allowing them to recognize the value and strength within themselves. With this, we work together to create a healing space, and discover strategies that can be used to alleviate suffering.
